Welcome to the Maxwell Counseling Office Home Page, where you will find numerous links to resources containing information to help you reach your personal, educational, and career goals. In addition to this site, you may also access additional resources in the Counseling Office which is located in the high school building. Within it you will find information about employment opportunities and labor market trends; viewbooks, applications, and course catalogs from all colleges and universities in New Mexico (as well as select institutions from other states); information about financial aid and scholarship opportunities; and the ever important junior and senior mailboxes where all scholarship notices received within the counseling office are posited for your assistance.
Maxwell Counseling Office Goal(s):
-To provide comprehensive guidance and counseling services to the students and families within the Maxwell Municipal School District.
-To assist all students in the development of personal, educational and career goals based upon interests and aptitudes.
-To assist all students in gaining awareness of career and educational opportunities beyond high school.
-To facilitate and implement a plan of action regarding personal, educational, and career goals.
-To assist students in research efforts regarding future plans by identifying external agencies and institutions providing training and/or programs of study needed to reach individual goals.
-To provide all students and families with up-to-date resources to help facilitate the realization of personal, educational, and career goals.
-To provide on-going support and guidance to all students and their families in helping attain goals.
